如何免月費

• Chase Total Checking 月費 $12，滿足以下條件可以免月費：每月 direct deposits $500 以上，或保持 $1,500 存款
• Chase Savings 月費 $5：每月保持 $300 存款可免月費

注意事項

• 嚴格來說，美國大部分 checking/savings accounts 都要求 Non-Resident Alien (NRA) 不能網上開戶，只能去銀行網點。實際上銀行不會去查，但如果將來被調查可能有未知風險
• 開戶獎勵要交稅，會發 Form 1099-int 或者 Form 1042-s，不會影響 F1 / H1b 身份

總結

Chase 銀行網點很多，很多同學都把賬戶開到他家，還是很方便的。注意從 2019 年開始 Chase Checking 開戶獎勵最多 2 年獲得一次了，而且 Chase 對於可疑交易，管的非常嚴格，例如不要存大額現金、規律性存現金、存 Money Order、境外大額匯款。主要目的是防洗錢，正常使用沒有關係。
